How consent is collected

The checkbox is separate from the mobile-number field, optional, and unchecked by default. Entering or changing a mobile number does not enroll a candidate. A candidate may save a profile without opting in; Construction Hire records consent only when the candidate affirmatively selects the checkbox and saves the current mobile number under the displayed disclosure.
